Happy 100th Anniversary, Maybelline!

*starts singing "Happy Birthday"*  Can you believe it?  My favourite drugstore brand celebrated their 100th Anniversary, and last week their birthday tour hit Toronto.

Click through to see pictures from the celebration, as well as some of Maybelline's upcoming products.

The people who bring you Maybelline brought the party to Toronto, and with them they brought the official face of Maybelline, Gigi Hadid.  While I was not in attendance, this event looked too fabulous to not share with you.

Let's just take a second to appreciate Gigi Hadid's everything, and go ga-ga over the makeup.

In a nod to the racing stripe on Hadid's white Smythe pantsuit, Maybelline New York Lead Makeup Artist Grace Lee penned a double-lined eye using new (July 2015) Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in Cashmere White and Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner in Black. Lashes were coated with Lash Sensational Mascara in Blackest Black and brows were combed through with Brow Drama in Blonde. Hadid's lips were topped with nude hue (Color Sensational The Buffs Lipstick in Truffle tease), keeping all focus on her gorgeous liner.

Note to self:  Recreate this look ASAP.

And, as promised, here's some pictures of the newest products that Maybelline has to offer.

See anything you like?  If you pop on over to my instagram (@ShawnaOhPlease), you might see me modelling one of the 'Color Blur' lip crayons.  I'm so excited for Maybelline's future, and I'm pumped to get my hands on the new releases.  I absolutely trust Maybelline with my face, my nails, my lips - pretty much, I trust them with everything (Their foundations are one of only two brands that match my colour).  And even though it's not pictured, I am BEYOND excited to get my hands on the 10 new soft matte lipsticks.

If you're interested in seeing more fromthe event, pop by my girl Julie's blog, Swatch & Review, for the inside scoop.  And stay tuned, because later this week, I'll be doing a lesson in "Maybelline History 101".  Until next time! - Shawna
