Welcome to the glow game, MAKE UP FOR EVER.  I've been waiting for you!

MAKE UP FOR EVER has just come out with two highlighters to add to their lineup.  For some reason, I'm pretty surprised that this hadn't happened sooner, but I'll welcome them to the family with open arms.

"Weightless and silky-smooth like a veil of light on the skin, PRO LIGHT FUSION’s formula features a unique, soft-shimmer gel formula that provides superior blendability to beautifully sculpt, highlight or simply give the skin a natural radiance. An ultra-high concentration of emoillients generated by a Gellyfying System technology creates a beautiful, creamy powder with a gel-like texture, while Synthetic mica reflects lights for luminosity and synthetic spherical powders provide incredible staying power and a soft-focus finish."

The Pro Light Fusion highlighter comes in two colours - gold and golden pink.  Of course, golden pink (01) was calling my name.

The highlighter comes in a simple black compact, with a mirror attached.  There is 9 g of product, compared to the highlighter standard "Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed" by BECCA Cosmetics, which contains 8 g of product.

The product is embossed with a really cool design, but the awesome thing about the design is the fact that it isn't flat, it's actually 3D!  If you look at the product at an angle you can see the waves.

Pro Light Fusion #01 is a frosty pink.  The way that the highlighter appears on my face isn't the most intense highlighter in my collection, but it's still enough to make an impression - I defnitely wouldn't call it super-light or subtle.  Presence-wise, I'd place I'd give it a silver medal, second to my BECCA "Champagne Pop".

The product was pretty densely packed, so it was a little hard to pick it up with my brush - it took a bit of extra work.

At first when I applied it to the tops of my cheeks and my browbone, I wasn't instantly dazzled.  However, the second the light caught the highlighter, and I saw myself in the viewfinder of my camera, and I was all "Ooohhh...Okay!".  It gives a beautiful candlelit glow.

I was surprised to see that I didn't have another colour like this in my collection.  I pulled out my lighter, pink-toned highlighters to compare, but found that the Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Shimmering Sculpting Powder #001 (Review HERE) was more of a bronze-y rose gold, and theBalm's 'Mary-Lou Manizer' was a more champagne gold.

I'm pretty pleased with the MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Light Fusion in #01, and I'll definitely be reaching for this one in the future.

You can find the MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Light Fusion for $39.00 USD/$43.00 CAD at Sephora or online.
